The Footwear Unit - Lakhani India Limited (Phase-I) was formally inaugurated at Plots Nos. 22-24, Sector-4 on 27th August under the auspices of Hon'ble Chief Minister of Uttranchal Shri N.D Tiwari. Swami Ramdev ji and two Special Guests of Honour – Mr. M Balachandran, Chairman Bank of India and Mr. Rajiv Mehta, MD Puma India graced this occasion . Subsequent expansions are slated to be completed over the next 2 years.

LIL’s Footwear Unit at Hardwar is situated on a 37000 sq m plot and will eventually involve a total investment of Rs 25 cr. It will have a capacity to produce 45 lakh pairs of shoes annually. The Group is committed to invest approx. 150 cr. in the coming three years in Uttranchal with a creation of 5000 jobs (direct +indirect) in phases.
